When is the Diwali vacation for schools in Gujarat in 2026?

Gujarat board (GSHSEB) schools have Diwali vacation from 5 November to 25 November 2026, and the second term starts on 26 November. CBSE, ICSE and primary schools may use different dates, so check your child's school circular.

What are some screen-free activities for kids during the Diwali vacation?

Animal walks like bear crawls and frog jumps, balance games, freeze dance, home obstacle courses, skipping, cycling and simple bodyweight moves like squats and wall push-ups. A 20–30 minute session with an adult joining in is a manageable starting block, alongside other active play during the day.

How can my child stay fit while we travel over Diwali?

Do a 10–15 minute no-equipment routine wherever you stay: jumping jacks, bear crawls, squats, wall push-ups and plank holds. On travel days, walk while sightseeing, take the stairs, play at parks or beaches, and take stretch breaks on long journeys.

What should kids eat when eating out on holiday?

Pick simple meals like dal, roti, rice, sabzi, idli or grilled options when you can. Carry water and snacks like fruit, roasted chana or makhana, share fried food and sweets, limit sugary drinks, and drink safe or bottled water.

Is it too hot, or does rain stop training at K2?

The training area has a roof, about 20 ft high, for shade and shelter from rain, with open sides for fresh air. The indoor areas have coolers for cooling and air circulation.

Is calisthenics safe for children?

Simple bodyweight play is generally a safe way for children to build strength and balance when an adult supervises, the space is clear, and they warm up first. Avoid hanging from anything that might move, and ask a doctor first if your child has a medical condition or injury.

What age can kids join K2 Calisthenics Park?
